Performance Line:
Flow Forming Technology is a hydraulic roller forming process used to increase strength. For BBS alloy rims, the forming process involves temperatures of 300 to 350 degrees Celsius and high pressure, followed by rolling on a cylinder to shape. The result is a thinner wall thickness than the original rim, leading to a lighter wheel. It also provides a denser material structure and greater material strength.

Forging Technology:
This is a high-pressure forging process that maximizes material density and weight reduction from high-strength and durable aluminum or magnesium alloys. BBS has refined this complex forging process using a closed-system pressing and compression method. The process operates at pressures of 5,000 to 8,000 tons to achieve exceptional material density. During each working step, the material is repeatedly heated to 400 degrees Celsius. As a result, an optimal material structure can be achieved, particularly in high-height areas, allowing for thinner and lighter wheels than conventional wheels.
